The first social networking site for online gaming marketers goes live.
NEW YORK, NY, June 04, 2009 /Gaming and Casinos PR News/ -- The social networking revolution has reached the online casino marketing community. CasinoAffiliateLounge.com went live today to provide a lively place to connect with old friends, to make new ones, to debate, to exchange, to share and to have fun for online gaming professionals. CasinoAffiliateLounge allows both affiliate program managers and casino affiliates to join the network. Affiliate managers can set up their own online networks and promote their own events and communicate with their clients. Once on the network, members can connect with each other through live video chat or traditional methods. They can share micro blogs, articles, videos, pictures and music. Each member can submit articles to the Casino Affiliate Lounge Magazine. Members can read about industry gossip, hard news and discuss current issues related to the industry. Shields is planning to add video lectures and instructional video features for members.
Affiliates managers can invite their business contacts and earn credits for free advertising for every contact that signs up. "We'd like to become the de-facto social networking site for casino, poker and sportsbook affiliates," said Mr. Shields.
According to industry estimates there are currently 3000 independent affiliates promoting online gaming products. This includes small "mom and pop" gaming portals as well as multi site networks that produce millions of dollars in revenue by linking to online casino, poker, sports book and bingo sites.
CasinoAffiliateLounge.com is planning on operating commercial free for the the first six months of its operation. "We are in it for the long run. We hope to provide our members a comfortable ad free environment and plan to include affiliate program offers at the beginning of 2010," added the site's founder. Advertising credits will be redeemable in January 2010.
